In 1985, my brother, Chef Larry Raymond, perfected the family recipe and entered our Sweet & Sour BBQ Sauce into the nation's largest rib-fighting competition. He named it after the nickname I was given playing basketball on the West Side of Chicago: "Sweet Baby Ray." The sauce is so delicious that it out-flavored nearly 700 entries in the competition.
